1. Who we are
Cuttavo ("Cuttavo," "we," "us," or "our") provides content strategy, writing, video-editing and related production services for professional customers, together with separately operated software and automation tools that may help account owners manage Instagram conversations, contacts, approvals, bookings and related workflows.

2. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use Cuttavo, we may collect or process the following categories of information:
- Account and profile information: names, usernames, Instagram professional account identifiers, profile details, and account connection status.
- Instagram messaging and interaction data: messages sent to or from a connected Instagram professional account, message identifiers, sender and recipient identifiers, timestamps, webhook events, and related interaction metadata that Meta makes available to the app.
- Content and business information: information you choose to provide about your offer, expertise, public content links, prospective buyer questions, sample requests, services, preferences or other material you send to Cuttavo.
- Authentication data: OAuth access tokens and related authorization metadata required to keep a connected Instagram account authenticated. Access tokens are kept server-side and are not displayed publicly.
- Contact and booking information: email addresses, scheduling details, booking status, and other information supplied during a conversation or booking workflow.
- Technical and operational information: IP address, device/browser information, timestamps, request metadata, application logs, error information, security events, and service usage information needed to operate and protect the service.
Public website enquiries and free sample requests
The public free-sample form is temporarily operating in email-draft mode while direct submissions are verified. You must press Send in your own email application, or use Copy Request and send it yourself. We have also prepared integration with FormSubmit, an external form-processing service, but we will not enable on-page submission until an actual successful delivery is confirmed. Once enabled, that service will process enquiry details. A submission can include your name, email address, public content link, service description, prospect question, consent choice and campaign attribution. FormSubmit processes the submission and forwards it by email once Cuttavo has activated the destination inbox. Cuttavo cannot confirm delivery until that activation and an actual inbox-receipt test have succeeded.
If you prefer not to use the external form service, the Copy Request option lets you copy the same information on your device and send it through your own email service. If you send an email, your message and contact details may be processed and stored by your email provider, Cuttavo and our email provider to evaluate and respond to your request. FormSubmit states that it retains submission archives for up to 30 days; see its published privacy terms. Please do not send confidential client information or non-public recordings unless authorized.

3. How we use information
We use information only for legitimate service, operational, security, and support purposes, including to:
- connect and authenticate Instagram professional accounts;
- receive and process Instagram webhook events and messages;
- display conversations, contacts, approvals, booking states, and related account activity inside Cuttavo;
- prepare, review, and where authorized, send replies through Instagram;
- provide AI-assisted drafting or workflow support when those features are enabled;
- evaluate public content-sample requests and provide content writing, editing, strategy and production services requested by customers;
- detect abuse, secure accounts, prevent unauthorized access, troubleshoot failures, and maintain reliability;
- respond to support, privacy, and data-deletion requests; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Instagram and Meta data
When you connect an Instagram professional account, Cuttavo uses Meta's Instagram APIs and OAuth flow to request only the permissions needed for the enabled features. Meta controls what information its APIs make available and may apply its own terms, privacy practices, permission rules, and retention requirements.
Cuttavo uses Instagram data to provide the features requested by the account owner, such as account connection, messaging, conversation handling, approvals, and related workflow functions. We do not use Instagram data to build unrelated advertising profiles.
5. AI-assisted processing
If AI-assisted drafting or analysis is enabled, relevant message text, business context, or conversation information may be sent to an AI service provider solely to generate the requested draft, classification, summary, or workflow output. We limit this processing to what is reasonably necessary for the enabled feature.
6. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Cuttavo, such as hosting, database, infrastructure, messaging/API, AI, scheduling, monitoring, analytics, and security providers. They may process information only as needed to provide those services to us.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights or safety of Cuttavo or others, to investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and conversation history, satisfy operational or security needs, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
When an Instagram account is disconnected, we stop using its access token for future API access. Certain records may remain for a limited period in operational systems or backups unless earlier deletion is required by law or requested and reasonably possible.
8. Data deletion and account disconnection
You can disconnect an Instagram account from Cuttavo through the applicable integration controls. To request deletion of personal information associated with Cuttavo, email admin@cuttavo.studio with the subject "Cuttavo Data Deletion Request" and identify the account or information involved.
We may ask for reasonable information to verify the requester before completing a deletion request. We will delete or de-identify information that we are required or able to remove, subject to legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, and backup-retention needs.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. These measures include restricting access to sensitive credentials and keeping OAuth tokens server-side. No system can guarantee absolute security.
10. International processing
Cuttavo and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for such processing.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of certain personal information. You may also withdraw a connected Instagram account's authorization by disconnecting the integration or through the relevant Meta/Instagram account settings.

12. Children's privacy
Cuttavo is intended for businesses and professional users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Cuttavo, our integrations, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy at this URL and update the effective date above when material changes are made.
